Sole Mountain marks the border between the provinces of Treviso and Belluno. In contrast with the green valleys sloping toward the plain, the attractive lakes and rivers, this mountain is unusually dry and bare, almost entirely without water. Pastures, the mountain’s only resource, cover its sides and wavy peaks.
